About Michael Evans

I am a Master Accredited photographer specialising in fine art portrait, headshot, and sports & event photography. My work focuses on creating thoughtful, story-led imagery that captures people with clarity, emotion, and lasting presence.

Now based in Evesham, I continue to work across portrait and event photography, creating images that feel both natural and intentional — whether in the studio or on location.

A Life Shaped by Change and Connection

My journey into photography has not been linear. I began my career in IT in the late 1970s, spending many years working in technology before discovering photography as a creative outlet that quickly became a second career — and then a passion.

Over time, that passion developed into a focus on portrait and sports photography, where timing, emotion, and human connection come together.

Relocating from Barbados to the UK marks a new chapter in both my life and work — one shaped by a desire to be closer to family and to continue building my practice in a new environment.

I take a calm, considered approach to every session, creating an environment where people feel at ease and guided throughout the process.

Whether photographing individuals, families, professionals, or live events, I focus on natural expression, careful composition, and controlled lighting to create images that feel authentic, refined, and enduring.
