MICHAEL EVANS VISUAL ARTS
FAQ - FINE ART PORTRAITS
How far in advance should I book?
For portrait and headshot sessions, I recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance. Event and sports coverage should be booked as early as possible to secure availability.
I’m not comfortable in front of the camera — is that a problem?
Not at all. Most clients feel this way initially. I provide clear direction throughout the session to help you feel relaxed and confident, resulting in natural, authentic images.
Where do sessions take place?
Portrait and headshot sessions can take place in studio or on location depending on the style required. Event and sports photography is covered at your chosen venue.
How long does a session take?
This depends on the type of shoot. Headshots are typically shorter sessions, while portrait sessions are more relaxed and unhurried. Event coverage is based on agreed timing.
Do I get help choosing images?
Yes. All images are professionally edited and delivered as a curated selection, with guidance available to help you choose final favourites.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes — especially for portrait sessions. Many clients choose to turn their images into fine art prints or wall pieces.
